Production technology
Glass bottle production process mainly includes: ① raw material pre-processing. The massive raw materials (quartz sand, soda ash, limestone, feldspar, etc.) are crushed, the wet raw materials are dried, and the iron-containing raw materials are treated with iron removal to ensure the quality of the glass. ② Preparation of compound materials. ③ Melting system. The glass compound is heated at high temperature (1550~1600 degrees) in the pool kiln or pool furnace to form a uniform, bubble-free liquid glass that meets the molding requirements. ④ Forming. The liquid glass is put into the mold to make the glass products of the required shape, such as plates, various utensils, etc. ⑤ Heat treatment. Through annealing, quenching and other processes, eliminate or produce the internal stress of the glass, phase separation or crystallization, and change the structural state of the glass.
Product advantage
Glass bottles are the least leaky and therefore taste the best
The difference between plastic bottles and metal cans is that plastic is a polymer material, and the arrangement between molecules must be less tight than between metal atoms, resulting in carbon dioxide more easily leaking, and the gas in the same glass bottles of carbonated drinks is not easy to leak. As a result, coke in glass bottles and cans tastes better than plastic bottles.
In the process of transportation and storage, the two ways of plastic bottles and cans will cause the pressure to drop because of the deformation of the packaging, and the glass bottle does not have this problem. In addition, there may be differences in the permeability of glass, aluminum cans and plastic shells. The nature of the glass is stable, the inner wall only needs to be cleaned and can be used; However, the inner wall of aluminum cans is actually coated, and the inner wall of plastic bottles is similar. The plastic or plastic coating may react with the cola liquid during storage, affecting the taste.
Different parts of the tongue touch the drink first, and the taste is different
Some people think that due to the different opening shapes of cans and plastic bottles, the contact position with the tongue is different, and then the difference in taste is caused: when drinking cans, Coke contacts the front part of the tongue, and the taste buds are richer, more sensitive to bubbles and sweetness, so the taste is better. When drinking a bottle, Coke is poured directly into the back of the tongue, which is not as tasty as the former, but because a large number of bubbles go directly into the stomach, it will feel more refreshing.
